The Planning & Scheduling center will gather for the 2nd edition all the leaders that present the benefits of APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling Systems) supporting an innovative Supply Chain.
APS are applications which aim to achieve supply chain optimisation from the initial order through to final transportation via production planning and supply. The Advanced Planning and Scheduling Systems organise production in function of the constraints of availability and provide the capability to adapt resource usage and to define production planning. The scope of action of APS includes ordering, supplies, production, storage and distribution. It is therefore a global optimisation involving all these areas rather than looking to optimise each business process independently.
