The 12th Innovation Awards

The search for innovative solutions was the principal motive for 97% of the visitors attending the previous edition.

With its 12th Logistics Innovation Award, SITL Europe gives the opportunity to participate by entering the development of an innovative product, service or organisation.

The Innovation Award allows businesses to participate by entering an innovative product, service or organization. Each entry is examined by a jury made up of professionals well known for their expertise and who are representative of the different aspects of transport and logistics. The award winners are announced at a gala event at the exhibition that will takes place this year Tuesday 27th 2012 on the Casablanca conferences set on SITL Europe at 12pm.

8 Innovations Rewarded

INNOVATION Grand Prix:
Recognising a submission from across all categories which stands out for the development of solutions that are adapted to the needs of transport and logistics users or buyers in industry or retail.

Best INNOVATION IN TRANSPORT & LOGISTICS SERVICE:
Recognises a Transport & Logistics supplier for the implementation of an innovative service: its process, economic model or value creation.

Best PRODUCT INNOVATION:
Awarded to a product which adds major value in terms of security, profitability, ergonomics or ease of use.

Best INNOVATIVE ORGANISATION BETWEEN A SHIPPER AND A TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS PROVIDER:
Recognises the partnership between a shipper and supplier for their solution in innovative organisation either in transport, logistics, information systems, equipment…

Best INSTALLATIONS OR LOGISTICS SITES:
Rewards a project (platform, real estate, regional infrastructure…) where the design, build and operation are a coherent and sustainable scheme which is eff ective and supports new economic developments.

New Best INNOVATION IN MATERIALS HANDLING & WAREHOUSE EQUIPMENT:
Recognises a product or solution which is innovative in terms of optimisation and/or automation in the processes of storage and warehousing.

New BEST ENVIRONMENTAL INNOVATION IN TRANSPORT EQUIPMENT:

The award rewards a supplier of any transport equipment (road, rail, river, sea, air or multimodal) which delivers a high performance in terms of energy savings and/or a reduction of polluting emissions and/or those of CO2 and/or noise.

New BEST ENVIRONMENTAL INNOVATION IN WAREHOUSING, PACKING OR PACKAGING:
The award rewards a supplier of equipment or consumables which represents an obvious ecological advance or which offers a reduction in work related risks (repetitive strain injuries, health, safety…)
